How To Get The Crossbow In Alan Wake 2
In order to get the Crossbow in Alan Wake 2, you must first reach the town of Watery. Once you do, head west to Coffee World and reach the location shown on the map screenshot above. This area is on the outskirts of the town, so you must get past the broken bridge. Once you do, you’ll find yourself near a Hunting Shack.
The Crossbow, as with many other useful items, is locked inside a Cult Stash, which needs to be unlocked by putting in the correct code. Luckily, the code is easy to find! Outside the Hunting Shack, you will find a shooting arena with numbered targets hanging in different places, some with arrows stuck to them already.
Simply get near them, and you will see that the arrows have hit the targets in a specific sequence, meaning you need to put the number in the Cult Stash according to the number of arrows in a specific target. The correct code is given below:
- Code Number #1: 5
- Code Number #2: 2
- Code Number #3: 7
Once you enter the code, the Cult Stash will open up, giving you access to the amazing Crossbow. This weapon is most helpful when you are low on ammo with another weapon, as the bolts fired by the Crossbow can be used again. Of course, you need to pluck the bolts out from the enemies you use them against to get them back. However, the Crossbow does have a drawback: its reload time, which is relatively slow compared to most weapons in the game.
