If you haven’t found A Challenge Enigma yet, you can go to the balcony of a house in Yasiriyah inside the Abbasiyah district. The building is located southwest of the Scriptorium and southeast of the House of Wisdom.
If you have trouble locating the Enigma, you can use Enkidu once you’re in the nearby area. The eagle can notice various interesting objects, such as gear chests and Mysterious Shards.
The Enigma will be lying on top of a table on a wooden balcony. You must climb on top of the building and drop to the balcony near a staircase and a tree.
A Challenge Enigma is quite tricky since it tells the clues in riddles. The first clue is “Turn East from where the learned Observe,” implying that the treasure is located east of the Observatory.
The second clue is “Seek out the isle where water splits,” referencing the island where the Gate of Tahir stands. The last clue is “Where Wheels churn,” and it implies that the treasure is hidden somewhere near a water wheel.
From the balcony, you must head northeast, where you will find a large water wheel across the bridge. Next, you will need to climb up the building behind the wooden structure.
There will be a barred window that lets you peer into the building. You must use your Throwing Knives to break the lock attached to the window to your left. If you have trouble finding it, you can enable aim-assist so Basim will automatically lock on the target.
Afterward, you just need to enter the building through the newly opened window. You will find the treasure underneath a pile of sand on the ground floor. Your reward for solving this Enigma is the Black Rostam outfit dye, which you can use to change the color scheme of the Rostam outfit.
