Assassin’s Creed Shadows Post-Launch Plans To Be Revealed Next Week

Ubisoft has announced that the post-launch content updates planned for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be detailed next week on April 30. We’re expecting to see new information for the confirmed DLC expansions Claws of Awaji, along with potential information on what the second expansion could be for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. We also anticipate perhaps more updates on the next project in the Animus Hub, effectively a Battle Pass of unlockable rewards in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, along with changes to parkour as is shown in the teaser trailer for next week’s update.

The launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows was a successful one by most metrics, but the key to longevity, especially within modern gaming, is to deliver extra content post-launch to keep players coming back. Adding new content, especially if it’s well received, could add an additional bump to Assassin’s Creed Shadows player count which already broke franchise records last month.

The Claws of Awaji expansion will make the massive Japan of Assassin’s Creed Shadows even bigger.

As we mentioned earlier, the only confirmed expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows so far is Claws of Awaji. This story-focused DLC pack will add a new island region, with players being hunted by a new enemy faction. The expansion will also see the addition of a new weapon type for protagonist Naoe, along with new skills, abilities, gear and of course playable story and side content.

Be sure to check back here for details on April 30 as to what the future of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will contain. What do you hope to see in future updates? Let us know in the comments down below, and keep your eyes on GameLuster for more breaking gaming news.
