How To Get Sunstone In Dragon’s Dogma 2

Dragons Dogma 2 Sunstone

Since Sunstone is one of the rarest minerals found in Dragon’s Dogma 2, there aren’t that many ways to obtain it. However, you are able to obtain Sunstone from mining at specific locations, defeating certain creatures, or by a few other methods.

Here are the best ways to obtain Sunstone:

Mine Rock Deposits

The best and primary way to get Sunstone is by mining rock deposits scattered around the Dragonsbreath Tower in the Battahl region. You can get this mineral in any of the random deposits in the area, so make sure to keep mining until you find it. The map screenshot above shows the location where Dragon’s Dogma 2 players found one Sunstone mining node. However, everything depends on RNG, meaning you might find it elsewhere.

Defeat Enemies

You can also obtain Sunstone via killing specific enemies that spawn in the Dragonsbreath Tower area. Grim OgresSerpents, and Gorechimeras drop Sunstone on being defeated, but the chances are slim. Grim Ogre has an 8% chance of dropping the item, with both both Serpents and Gorechimeras having a slightly higher 10% chance. While this is not a recommended way to farm Sunstone, as the enemies are quite powerful, you can still go for it if you want to give it a try.

Purchase Sunstone From The Vendor Mubarak

Another great way to get Sunstone is by directly purchasing it from the wandering vendor Mubarak. He sells a piece of Sunstone for 3000 Gold. Unfortunately, the vendor doesn’t keep a very good stock of Sunstone with him, and you can only get a single piece every few days. This means you need to keep waiting until his stock replenishes so you can buy your desired item.

In regards to Mubarak’s location, he primarily roams around the Northern Battahl region. Since he is a wandering merchant, he does not have an exact location. But, if you keep looking for him in the mentioned area, you will find him in no time.

And that’s how you can get Sunstone In Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you find this guide helpful, share it with your friends.
