Golem Map Location In Dragons Dogma 2

You can get Electrum as a dropped reward for defeating a rare species of Golem. While the regular Golems have blue-colored glowing discs on their body, you can recognize the rare ones by their purple-colored discs. This uncommon Golem is mainly found on the path in the Volcanic Island region, as marked in the screenshot above. The exact location of the creature is west of the Volcanic Island, near a campsite.

Getting to the Volcanic Island can be a bit tricky if you do not know how the way. The first thing you will want to do is reach Bakbattahl, and from there, just start traveling to the west. Keep walking along the path, and you will find yourself near Dranbir’s Grotto. You will have to pass through it to reach the other side. There are plenty of enemies that you will need to defeat as you pass through the Grotto. Eventually, you will reach the other side of the Volcanic Island region. This is the area where the Purple Golem will spawn.

If you have already fought regular-colored Golems before this enemy should be a manageable threat to you. The strategy to kill this enemy is the same as with the other Golems. You need to hit the discs located at different places on the Golem’s body, as these are the only vulnerable spots to deal damage to it.

When you are done destroying all the weak spots in Golem’s body, it will fall to the ground, and the fight will be over with you standing as the winner. Even though these Golems are harder to beat, they are worth fighting, as they give a decent amount of XP, Magic Medals, and, most importantly, Electrum.

Tip: Sometimes, you might not get the enemy you are looking for. The rotation happens every day, with different enemies spawning in the same area. What you need to do is go back to the campsite, rest for a few extra days, and keep checking until the Purple Golem has spawned. This will help you farm Electrum in abundance.
