Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers March 25 – 31, as Princess Peach: Showtime! keeps the top spot on the charts after a solid debut last week. With over 27,000 copies sold, the latest outing for the Mushrom Kingdom’s Princess has crossed the 100,000 total sales mark in just two weeks time.
Following Princess Peach: Showtime! is Rise of the Ronin, which actually went up a spot from last week. After debuting at #3, Rise of the Ronin managed to rise (no pun intended) to #2, thanks to selling an additional 20,000 units this week. The former second place game, Dragon’s Dogma 2, took a fall to #5. Elsewhere on the chart, horse racing game Winning Post 10 2024 took up both #3 and #7 on the chart, thanks to a Switch and PS5 release respectively. Sadly, this means Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is no longer charting after a month on shelves.
