Hitman 3 may still be just in its infancy, but IO Interactive are not slowing down as they release the details of their busy February Roadmap. Players can expect to see new and free content in the game every week throughout February. A new trailer for the February Roadmap details everything players can expect to see.
The new Escalation contract The Baskerville Barney has now dropped which puts you back at Thornbridge Manor. This one tasks you with the interesting job of killing off the whole Carlisle Family, but here’s the catch – it can only be through ‘accidents’.
The next release is on February 11 and will be the first set of Featured Contracts, all set in Dubai. This release is in collaboration with the YouTube show MinnMax. Clemens Koch, Community Developer at IO, notes that you should ‘expect something with a banana.’
Next is The Sinbad Stringent Escalation, which is due for release February 18. This one arms you with just a throwing knife and pits you against the very deadly…boxes? Talking about this mission, Koch says ‘You might ask yourself, what’s in the box? Well, there’s only one way to find out.’
Owners of the deluxe edition will be getting a new Deluxe Escalation titled The Proloff Parable, which is due to be released February 23. Here, you will take on the mantle of the White Shadow to work your way through a train which is travelling through the Carpathian Mountains. You can make good use of the white katana and also the white Sieger 300 sniper rifle.
Deluxe edition owners can also expect to see another Deluxe Escalation titled The Gauchito Antiquity, which will also be released February 23. This one is all about poisoning your targets whilst putting you in the role of the tech-savy Guru. Koch says that these Escalations are both ‘inspired by old Hitman classics.’
The next Featured Contracts are set in Dartmoor in collaboration with Kinda Funny, which are expected to have plenty of mayhem. The Dartmoor Featured Contracts are due for release February 25.
To wrap up, The Deceivers (a new Sapienza Elusive Target) is set for release on February 26, and will be available until March 8. The key is to eliminate them both for the mission to be a success.
Hitman 3 is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
