Palworld: How To Get Wool

Wool is a vital resource you can obtain from several methods in Palworld. Since the game doesn’t make it clear how to get this item, our guide will explain the best way to farm this material.

Palworld Farming Wool Guide

You can obtain Wool by building a Ranch and assigning Lamball, Cremis, or Melpaca to your base. This structure becomes available once you reach Level 5, and it requires 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 30 Fiber. After that, you just need to wait for the Pals to produce Wool, which you can pick up from the ground inside the Ranch.

Another viable way to obtain Wool is by capturing and killing fluffy Pals. They should be easy to spot with their thick fur and feathers. Here is the list of Pals you can target to get this material:

  • Lamball
  • Cremis
  • Swee
  • Sweepa
  • Melpaca
  • Kingpaca
  • Ice Kingpaca

For new players, you can capture Lamballs, which are sheep-like creatures that roam in various areas on Palpagos Island. They are usually at Levels 1 to 5, making them easy targets to capture and kill. I recommend keeping a few and assigning them to your Ranch to get a constant source of Wool.

How To Use Wool In Palworld

Wool is a useful material that you can use to craft various items and gear. Here is the list:

  • Cloth
  • High Quality Cloth
  • Shoddy Bed
  • Melpaca Saddle
  • Kingpaca Saddle
  • Ice Kingpaca Saddle

You will need Cloth to make various structures and armor. For new players, you can create your first armor, Cloth Outfit, once you reach Level 4. You will need two pieces of Cloth and a Workbench to get this item.

There is also High Quality Cloth, which you can get by processing ten pieces of Wool at a High Quality Workbench. This material can then be used to create a Giga Glider and a Large Pal Bed.

That’s the end of our guide on how to get and use Wool. For more Palworld content, you can read our post on how to obtain more Ancient Technology Points.
