The short and sweet Sabrina Carpenter will be arriving onto the Fortnite island on April 8! We previously reported the teases that the pop star would be the next Fortnite Festival-headlining artist, but a new animated video posted on Fortnite Festival‘s social media practically confirms the reveal. The video shows the iconic Sabrina Carpenter lipstick mark on top of a blue gradient strikingly similar to her Short n’ Sweet album artwork, with the date of April 8 handwritten followed by a cheeky “See you soon! xx” message.
We already knew Sabrina Carpenter was a likely addition after some of her live props, such as her red heart-marked microphone, were spotted on the Fortnite island last week. We speculated in that article that Sabrina Carpenter would release on April 8 given that’s when the Hatsune Miku collaboration ends, and we’re happy to say we were right.
We’re looking forward to seeing what cosmetics Sabrina Carpenter receives both in her Fortnite Festival Pass appearance along with any potential item store bundles we may see. She has a lot of iconic looks to choose from, ranging from her album cover outfits to the looks she wears in the Espresso and Please Please Please music videos. Those who have seen her Taste music video will also know that she won’t look completely out of place when running around with a weapon on the Fortnite island, so we can’t wait to see the full collaboration next week.
