Screenshot Saturday – May 21st

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, May 21st.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out the previous list here.

Peripeteia

This video from Peripeteia was shared by the developers (@90sGraphics) in this tweet. The old-school graphic style of this first-person shooter is really nostalgic, and the UI design which is the focus of the video looks adorable. We look forward to seeing more from this game in the future, and you can check out the demo and wishlist Peripeteia on Steam right now.

Day Night Cycle

This video was shared by the indie game developer (@charith_nr) in this tweet. Seeing different lighting and color schemes in indie games is always interesting, and in this video we got to see a very smooth and realistic transition between different times of the day. This game sure seems impressive, and we hope to learn more about it very soon.

Conscript

These screenshots from Conscript were shared by the game’s Twitter page (@ConscriptGame) in this tweet. The game is a survival horror set in the World War One setting, and the dark atmosphere and bleak art style really compliment the feeling the developers are going for. You can wishlist Conscript on Steam right now.

Robotry!

This video from Robotry! was shared by the developers (@lockpickle) in this tweet. The game has a really interesting gameplay concept; It’s a platformer where you have to jump without a jump button. Looking at the wobbly frog character, the game seem to revolve around environmental puzzles and challenges. The game is set to release in the Fall of 2022, and you can wishlist Robotry! on Steam right now.

Cynthia: Hidden in the Moonshadow

We’ve seen the game Cynthia in one of our previous round-ups, and it always amazes us to watch the beautiful world design, animations, and gameplay footage from this indie title. The short video was shared by the developer (@THdev_eu) in this tweet, and showcases some new environments and weapons in action. You can wishlist Cynthia: Hidden in the Moonshadow on Steam right now.
