Sony has revealed a limited edition Playstation 4 Pro console, customized with designs based on the forthcoming The Last Of Us Part II. The console is due to launch alongside the Naughty Dog title on June 19, 2020.
As revealed via the Playstation Blog, the bundle comes with a customized matte finish, adorned with Ellie’s tattoo design, a limited edition DualShock4 wireless controller (also sold separately), as well as a physical copy of the game and a code to redeem digital content.
The digital content includes The Last of Us Part II PS4 dynamic theme and avatars, and more. So, prices then, you’ll need to empty your bank accounts a little bit. Throughout the U.S. and Canada, the bundle can be purchased for USD 399.99 (MSRP) / CAD 499.99 (MSRP).
As a standalone purchase, the controller is available for USD 64.99 (MSRP) / CAD 74.99 (MSRP). The controller features Ellie’s fern tattoo beneath the R3 toggle and The Last of Us Part II logo on its touchpad.
Plus, Sony will be releasing a limited edition Gold Wireless headset for USD 99.99 (MSRP) / CAD 119.99 (MSRP).
Finally, for USD 89.99 (MSRP) / CAD 114.99 (MSRP), Sony has partnered with Seagate to create a special edition The Last of Us Part II Seagate 2TB Game Drive.
Recently, it was announced that the physical copy of The Last Of Us Part II would be released with two discs. A listing via the PlayStation website confirmed that the game would require “100 GB minimum” of free space to install The Last Of Us Part II. As a result, much like Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2, the first disc is likely required to install the game, while the second would be used to play it.
The Last Of Us Part II is due on June 19 on PS4.
