Triforce Heroes is not a part of the Zelda Timeline according to Nintendo of Canada

A lot of speculation has been thrown around about where exactly The Legend of Zelda Triforce Heroes fits into the series timeline. The game was only recently revealed at E3 and nothing we have seen really suggests any particular point, but perhaps that the what Nintendo was going for with this game. While during last weeks events we heard from Hiromasa Shikata who is the director of the new game, when asked about where Triforce Heroes fits into the timeline he played coy and seemed unsure. Now it seems all has been revealed, at least as long as you can believe Nintendo of Canada’s Julie Gagnon, who says that Triforce Heroes “is completely different and not in the timeline of Zelda.” Not official confirmation but it would make sense, the game just dosen’t quite fit, but then again I still don’t think Four Swords fits either.
