Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection Heading To PC Next Month

PlayStation has announced the next PC release of a former system exclusive with Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. This blockbuster collection includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, both optimized for PC to deliver graphics and performance. The collection comes to PC on Oct. 19, so there’s not long to wait.

The PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will feature Ultra-Wide Monitor resolutions, DualSense support and a reimagined user interface, to make the game feel more like a PC title. There’s also a full range of graphic options to tweak, like Texture and Model Quality, Reflections, Shadows and more.

Getting the game to max out at 60 FPS in 4K with all Ultra settings will need an RTX 3080 or equivalent GPU, so upscaling would go a long way to ease the burden on most regular gaming PCs. Thankfully, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection supports AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2, delivering a boost to frame rates and providing a high image quality. AMD FSR 2 is available on both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, so more players can feel the benefit.

It’s hardly surprising at this point when Sony announces a PC port of a PlayStation title. The next we could see is Returnal, after Sony’s GDC conference revealed the game running on a PC. Whichever title comes next, Sony is serious about using the PC to expand their properties beyond their home systems. There’s even a possibility that PlayStation Network could come to PC too.
