Warzone 2.0 – The Roze Skin Returns

It would seem the Roze skin is back in Warzone 2.0 – and much like the recent return of the dreaded invisibility glitch, the Call of Duty community is not best pleased with its arrival. For a moment, cast your mind back to early 2021, and you may remember the all-black Roze skin was met with negative reception from Warzone players for its unfair advantages on the playing field.

The skin proved particularly beneficial to those hiding in dark corners of a room or concealed inside shrubbery. Its jet black coloring is ideal for those adopting a stealth approach on the battlefield – although less effective for the more dramatic, guns-blazing style (my personal preferred style of play in Warzone).

Wind the clock forward a little from its early 2021 debut, and the second iteration of the skin was the Hypersonic Portnova skin and later the Night Terror skin. Now, here we are, and it looks like ‘Roze 4.0’ could be making headway inside the battle royale. Whether you’re pro or anti-Roze skin, there’s no questioning the popularity of the skin pack on Steam.

The new skin comes as part of the Los Angeles Thieves Pack, which, at the time of writing, sits in 21st place, nine places above the only other Call of Duty item (Modern Warfare II’s Desert Rogue: Pro Pack) on the Steam Top 100 list.

Warzone 2.0 launched on November 16, 2022. The original iteration of Warzone came back online on November 28 as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera, as previously reported by GameLuster. The game has been hugely popular, with Modern Warfare II‘s release hitting all-time highs for the franchise.
