Warzone Cheaters Can Make Boats Fly – Cue The Pirates Theme

You’ve read that title right, and this isn’t in your imagination. Cheaters in Warzone 2.0 are taking boats out of the water and into the skies (thanks to PCGamer for the initial story), and it’s an all-new way for players to claim victories on the Al Mazrah map. It’s not every day you’re playing a casual game of Warzone, and you look up to find a boat soaring above your head, and it’s understandably irritating if you find yourself getting killed by one.

This latest hack is quite funny, and made all the better with a torturous rendition of the Pirates of the Caribbean theme on a recorder playing over it. “That’s got to be the best pirate I’ve ever seen,” as the famous quote goes, or in the case of these particular hackers, they could be the worst. The visual evidence speaks for itself, as a player on the ground does a double take the moment a boat flies over their head and later attempts to kill them by dropping toward the ground. Check it out in the clip below from Co2Scorpick on YouTube.

The hackers are unsuccessful, and the player takes cover in a building before the hackers jump from the boat and explodes. Other examples of the boat hack in action include a thirty-five clip from Joab Gilroy, a freelance games critic and podcaster from Australia, who climbed aboard a flying boat with a handful of other Warzone players.

These flying boats seem to be taking over the Warzone side of the internet, also featuring in a clip from Reddit user SandmanDr3am3r, who described the moment a flying boat “came out of nowhere” to give him “the biggest jump scare I’ve had in a while.” Warzone 2.0 launched on November 16, 2022. The original iteration of Warzone is now offline and shall return on November 28 as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera, as previously reported by GameLuster.
