2-D Souls-like Salt and Sanctuary Coming to Nintendo Switch

Ska Studios’ Souls-like side-scroller, Salt and Sanctuary, is getting a port for the Nintendo Switch. The studio announced they were working with BlitWorks, a Spanish game developer that has ported many games in the past. Thanks to the joint effort of the two developers, you’ll now be able to play Salt and Sanctuary on the go.

The game originally launched in March 2016 for PS4, and later released in May of that year on PC. Salt and Sanctuary is a side-scrolling Souls-like that includes the signature Dark Souls gameplay on a 2-D plane. In fact, Salt and Sanctuary co-creators Michelle and James Silva said they wanted to design a game similar to FromSoftware’s SoulsBorne titles.

If you’re looking to face a huge challenge on the go, Salt and Sanctuary will release for the Switch on August 2 on Nintendo’s eShop for $18. If you want a physical copy, look out for the Salt and Sanctuary: Drowned Tome Edition releasing later this year.
