BioWare Focusing on Story and World for Anthem

According to Anthem developer BioWare, they will be focusing their efforts into the story of the game to create a contiguous atmosphere and build a more fruitful experience for players.

Casey Hudson, general manager at BioWare, stated in his blog that Anthem is “designed to create a whole new world of story and character” and that it “will be unlike anything you’ve played.”

Coming off the disappointment of Mass Effect: Andromeda, it will be interesting to see if BioWare can dig itself back out to glory. Even saying this, Hudson owned up to Andromeda’s failures, stating in his blog “that experience ultimately became a defining moment in refocusing BioWare’s mission.”

Anthem was first teased back in 2014 at E3, officially being announced at last year’s EA Play Event. Release dates are suspected to be Q1 2019.

It is unclear now as to whether BioWare will deliver on Anthem, but with the scope that they have set, fans of the Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic series have their fingers crossed for another masterpiece.
