Treyarch has released the first piece of official artwork for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The artwork supports the Cold War narrative from Treyarch and Raven Software's joint new title, depicting a Soviet soldier on the left, and an American soldier to the right.
On the Soviet side of the image, everything from Soviet missiles, propaganda posters, and a cosmonaut can be seen. As for the American half, it's an equally patriotic impression of the country, (a bald eagle to the stars of the U.S flag on the soldier's helmet.

Yesterday, Activision revealed an official trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The trailer, titled 'Know Your History,' depicts the geopolitical landscape behind Black Ops Cold War's narrative. With this in mind, the trailer does not reveal any gameplay footage or cinematic.
In the trailer, KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov warns of a spy by the codename of Perseus, whose infiltrated Western Intelligence to subvert the U.S in a bid to win the Arms Race, employing a process called Active Measures.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is due for release by at the end of 2020. As for consoles, it's uncertain if Cold War will mark the franchise's final game for the PS4 and Xbox One or become a cross-gen release with PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Activision still has two more major releases for the remainder of 2020. They include Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, which is set for September and October release dates, respectively.
However, Activision promise a worldwide reveal on August 26 (next Wednesday), which, with any luck, will provide us with more details for the game, such as a release date for Cold War.
