Halo Infinite Teaser Released Ahead Of Xbox Event Tomorrow

With only a day to go until Xbox’s first-party games showcase, 343 Industries – the studio behind the Halo franchise – are ramping up promotional teasers for their latest title, Halo Infinite.

In a short teaser via Twitter, the gif depicts the Master Chief’s headgear being slotted into place, shown from within the suit. The post is captioned “2 Days”, followed by the Halo infinite hashtag.

Tomorrow, the Xbox Series X games event will primarily focus on Halo Infinite’s campaign instead of it’s multiplayer. The showcase will start at 11am CST/5pm BST.

Last week, Microsoft unveiled Halo 3 on PC as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which can be purchased through Steam. The game has been optimized for PC, including 4k UHD and 60fps support. Furthermore, there will be customizable support for mouse and keyboards, ultra-wide support, and FOV customization.

The collection is a compilation of six Halo games adapted for PC. Four of these are currently available: Halo: ReachHalo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and Halo 2: Anniversary. As for the final three, Halo 3 now has a release date, whereas Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 are due to be added at the end of 2020.

An earlier teaser hinted at the return of the Banished, a faction of mercenaries who previously appeared in Halo Wars 2.

“The hour approaches,” the voice states over a radio transmission. Forces occupy The Ring. Within hours, it will be under our control. Humanity will burn. Their brazen defiance will be all but a memory. No more prophets, no more lies. We stand together, brothers to the end. We are his will, we are his legacy, we are The Banished.”

The Xbox Series X is expected during the 2020 holiday season, and Microsoft intends to release Halo Infinite at the same time. The game is in further development for Xbox One and PC.
