Modern Warfare II Vault Edition Players To Receive Double XP

It’s good news for anybody who purchased the Vault Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, as they can now receive ten hours of exclusive double XP. Initially, there was some confusion over who could purchase the tokens since players missed a tiny detail in the small print explaining they would only receive the rewards if they purchased Modern Warfare II via one of the previous titles. These include Modern WarfareBlack Ops Cold War, or Vanguard. Activision has cleared up the confusion with a tweet via social media, which can be seen further below.

“We understand there has been confusion about an in-game-store exclusive reward for the vault edition,” the tweet reads. It goes on to say that all players “that currently own or purchase any version of the MWII vault edition” will receive “10 hours of double XP tokens and 10 hours of double weapon XP tokens.”

On a variety of digital storefronts including the Playstation Store, the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare II is currently on sale for $100, making these double XP tokens an offer not to be missed. For those who already own the Vault Edition and who’ve not yet received the tokens, you are advised to keep an eye on your accounts, as the tokens should arrive within the next 48 hours.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II launched on Oct. 28 across all major platforms, including the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam. The launch went on to break franchise records, including biggest Call of Duty PlayStation Store launch to date.
