Obtaining Money Fast in Resident Evil 4 Remake

While there are many ways to get Pesetas in Resident Evil 4 Remake, here are a few of the best methods to acquire them quickly:

Find Treasures

You can discover many treasures during your exploration of the unnamed Spanish village. Even though they are already worth a lot of money, you should try to inlay some gemstones to increase their value. Inlaying multiple gems of the same color or creating a rainbow of four or five different color gems will result in the highest value treasures.

You can get gems by killing certain types of enemies and shooting crows that are present in some areas. They can also be found in chests and hanging lanterns that you must break first. Once you have filled out all available spots with precious stones, you can sell the treasure to the Merchant and earn some big bucks.

Sell Old Weapons

Selling unused weapons is a great way to quickly regain the Pesetas you invested in your firearms. You should use this method if you plan on purchasing a newer gun with better stats.

For example, you may be interested in buying the Red9, but you may hesitate because you have already enhanced the SG-09 R. There is no need to stop yourself from trying new weapons, because you can safely sell your previous gun to the Merchant and regain your money.

If you find out later that you prefer the old firearm, you can repurchase your gun from the Merchant again. Capcom has made this system in order to encourage players to try out new weapons instead of sticking to just one or two firearms. So go wild and buy that expensive and fancy gun!

You can even use special Charms that you can gain from the Shooting Range to increase the amount of money that you earn from selling weapons. You may want to obtain the Luis Sera Charm since it gives you a 20 percent increase in firearm resale value.

Complete Requests

Although most Requests that you can find only reward you with Spinels, there are several side quests that grant you extra money. For example, you can get 5,000 Pesetas by locating and selling the Scratched Emerald for the “Jewel Thief” Request.

You can also try to find the two rare Gold Eggs and sell them to the Merchant, giving you a total of 18,000 Pesetas. The first one can be found in an area near the Lake, and you’ll most likely use it to complete the “Egg Hunt” side mission. The second egg can be found much later in the game since it is hidden inside a cube lock puzzle in the Throne Room.

Completing Requests is also the only way to acquire the Treasure Maps that will reveal the locations of all jewels in certain areas. They should be the first items you spend your Spinels on, because the maps can help you discover all the treasures you’ve missed. Make sure not to sell your Spinels to the Merchant, and use them to buy Maps instead!
