The cast of Resident Evil 4 Remake is fairly small, and even smaller when you discount the villains. One of the most interesting opponents Leon faces is his old mentor Jack Krauser in a flashy, if not somewhat ridiculous, knife fight. With the introduction of Mercenaries Mode, three new playable characters were added, but would Krauser really be one of them?
Sure, Krauser was responsible for kidnapping Ashley, but this is Mercenaries Mode, where the plot is made up and the points don’t matter. Well, scratch that second part because the points actually matter a great deal if you want to unlock this CQC master.
How To Unlock Krauser In Mercenaries Mode In Resident Evil 4 Remake
The method to unlocking Krauser starts with first unlocking Luis, which we can also explain for you here. Once Luis is unlocked, the way to get Krauser should sound quite familiar; get an A rank on any map using Luis.
Once again, an A rank has a score requirement of at least 100,000 points, so you may need to practice a bit with Luis to hit that threshold. Once you do, will unlock this powerhouse.
Krauser’s loadout consists of the EJF-388 Compound Bow, a TMP, a Fighting Knife, three flash grenades, one first aid spray, and a bit of ammo. The Fighting Knife functions just like an upgraded Primal Knife, meaning it will never break! For range, the bow he’s rocking is just like the one he used against you before – explosive! Using it for yourself is just as satisfying as you would expect. Finally, Krauser’s Mayhem Mode ability lets you transform just like he did in his boss fight, but now you’re in control and can rip through enemies like wet paper.
