Rockstar Launches GTA+ Subscription Service For GTA Online

Rockstar will be launching a brand new membership program, GTA+. Designed exclusively for GTA Online across the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the service will land on March 29. The program will cost players $5.99 a month with the option to cancel anytime. According to a Rockstar Newswire post, the service will provide “easy access to valuable benefits for new and long-standing players on the latest generation consoles.”

GTA+ members will receive a recurring monthly GTA $500,000 deposit into their Maze Bank Account and exclusive features such as gameplay updates, special vehicle upgrades, discounts, GTA$ and RP bonuses, and more each month.

Benefits further include waived LS Car Meet Membership fees, free Aquarius Super Yacht upgrades for those who want to take to the water, free paints and emblems from the Auto Shop, 3X GTA$ and RP on Hao’s Special Works Race Series and 2X Car Meet Rep on the Street Race Series.

Current Auto Shop owners can relocate to La Mesa at no extra cost. Fashionistas can add the Gussét Frog Tee and Broker Prolaps Basketball Top and Shorts to their wardrobe. Plus, GTA+ members can take advantage of unique GTA+ Shark Cards that’ll provide “extra bonus cash from the PlayStation Store on the PS5 or Microsoft Store.”

Rockstar confirms that all GTA+ benefits will be included alongside regular GTA Online updates for all players. The first month of GTA+ benefits will run from March 29 to April 27.

In other GTA news, and as reported by Gameluster, one of the four founding members of Rockstar, Jamie King, weighed in on the narrative choices GTA 6 could take. King suggested that the next instalment in the crime franchise would not be “quite as edgy or quite as funny.”

GTA V is available on a range of platforms – PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
