Sega Giveaway Total War Shogun 2 For Free On Steam

Without a doubt, 2020 has been a difficult one, leaving us all in unprecedented and uncertain times. More still, the impact of COVID-19 around the world has been unrivaled. With so much of the world in lockdown, Sega wanted to say thank you for the continuing efforts of the global gaming community.

From tomorrow, April 27, until Friday, May 4, Sega is giving away Total War: Shogun 2 completely free on Steam. Plus, from May 1, Total War: Shogun 2 will be discounted at 75% off as part of a sale by Sega, according to the Total War blog.

The title includes selected Total War games and DLC. However, it’s important to note that Total War: Three Kingdoms and Rome: Total War and their DLCs will not be included in the sale. Neither are Total War: Warhammer games.

In a statement, the developers write, The past few weeks have presented unimaginable challenges to many of us, but the remarkable collective effort being made by the global community to overcome this moment of adversity has been truly inspirational.
