Rising Star Games has revealed that they will be publishing Steamworld Dig 2 in a physical form for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
For those looking to grab this physical version, you will be treated to some extra goodies. These extras include an exclusive double-sided poster featuring iconic artwork from the game along with a reversible inlay showing never-before-seen artwork.
Brjann Sigurgeirsson, CEO at Image & Form, talked about the physical release of their game.
“We’re totally humbled by the community’s reaction to SteamWorld Dig 2. This latest SteamWorld adventure is a milestone, and we’re naturally very proud of it,” he said. “Many fans are now asking for a physical release, so it makes me very happy to be able to partner up with Rising Star Games for a boxed version. We’re also excited that additional exclusive items will be included as well!”
SteamWorld Dig 2 will receive a physical release some time this Spring. It will be found at selected retailers across Europe and North America.
