The Last Of Us Part II Linked With PS Plus Premium Launch

The Last Of Us Part II could be on the way to the Premium tier on PlayStation Plus. As discovered and shared on Twitter by TCMFGames, a banner advertising the sequel on the PlayStation Store appeared beneath the subscriptions tab. Hogwarts Legacy (available as a Game Trial on PS Plus Premium) and Horizon: Forbidden West (currently available under the PS Plus Extra tier) sit alongside Part II in the picture.

The Last Of Us Part 1 – the enhanced semi-spiritual successor to the sequel is available as a Game Trial on PS Plus Premium. The recent remaster rumour connected to The Last Of Us Part II might leave fans unsure whether to wait for confirmation from Naughty Dog on a PS5 update, or grab the game should it arrive on PS Plus. If it helps, the sequel, exclusive to the PS4, received a PS5 performance patch in 2021, so why wait?

More than 400 titles can obtained via the PS Plus Extra tier, including a wealth of Assassin’s Creed titles, the complete edition of Horizon: Zero Dawn alongside Forbidden West and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. You can find a breakdown of everything you need to know about the Premium and Extra tiers here.

In other gaming news, Naughty Dog confirmed a wave of layoffs, with the bulk of those vacating the studio based in quality assurance testing. Those departing the company are expected to see out their contracts that expire in October.
