Players are noticing a problem with the MP5 in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and it’s a bug in dire need of a fix. As Reddit user icelz demonstrates below, the MP5 is a very powerful weapon, capable of dishing out some serious damage, regardless of skill and in-game good fortune.
In the clip, icelz sticks close to the side of wooden crates, but is easily picked off by the fire from another’s player MP5.
In response, Treyarch’s lead designer Tony Flame said on Twitter: “There WILL be Weapon, Scorestreak, and more balance changes coming in with Season 1, if not sooner.” He added that players’ feedback has been acknowledged and that the studio is “taking it into consideration.”
There WILL be Weapon, Scorestreak, and more balance changes coming in with Season 1, if not sooner. Already seeing some interesting trends in the analytics, but it's too soon for conclusions. If you're giving feedback, know that we see it and are taking it into consideration.

Despite negative reception from the Black Ops Cold War Reddit, the sequel to 2010’s Black Ops has been hugely successful for Activision.
Day one digital sales were the highest recorded in the history of the franchise. In a statement on Twitter, the studio thanked the game’s worldwide fanbase, describing the launch of Black Ops Cold War as “just the start”.
Anna Malmhake, Activision Blizzard’s EMEA’s managing director promised to deliver “an incredible amount of free post launch content, events and support for the entire community as Black Ops Cold War evolves just as we did last year with the release of Modern Warfare.”
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out now and is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC. For those considering purchasing Black Ops Cold War on the new wave of next-gen consoles, you should note that it will eat up quiet a but of memory, as previously reported.
For the PS4, Cold War will eat up 95GB but demands 133GB of space on the PS5. The Xbox Series X and S, meanwhile, is even bigger, occupying 136GB of space.
