Famitsu: Princess Peach Keeps The Crown For A Third Week

Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers April 1 – 7, as Princess Peach: Showtime! keeps the top spot in what is a relatively slow week for the Famitsu charts. It’s the third week Princess Peach: Showtime! has held #1, with just shy of 20,000 sales keeping the crown on tight.

As for the rest of the charts, it’s a lot of returning games both new and old. Rise of the Ronin drops to #3 from being second place last week, as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe overtakes with 13,000 sales. Always watch out for those nasty red shells. The famous plumber can also be seen at #4, with Super Mario Bros. Wonder selling a little under 10,000 copies, six months after its initial release.
