Nintendo Direct: Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Coming To Switch This Summer

The most recent Nintendo Direct showcase has revealed that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer. This will be the first console that the battle royale platformer has come to outside of the PlayStation 4 , as well as being available on PC since its initial release in August.

Outside of this big reveal, developer Mediatonic and publisher Devolver Digital did not reveal any extra information about this release. An exact release date has not yet been announced.

Fans have been clamoring after a release for Nintendo’s eighth generation console for months now, and this announcement could be another big success for the game which is already the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all-time. And, with the month of March rolling around in a few weeks, a fourth season of content could be arriving shortly after the winter-themed Season 3.

The most recent content update for the game was the “Season 3.5” mid-season update that arrived on February 2. As usual, the official Fall Guys Twitter account put out some comedy content, including an announcement about a trio of Pegwins (yes, Pegwins) arriving in a number of levels, some thoughts on the word “yeet”, and a tweet featuring an opossum. And, more recently, they’ve been talking about the newly added Red Panda skin, which was added for Valentine’s Day. With new content coming to the game regularly Nintendo Switch owners should have plenty to look forward to when the game drops later this year.

Fall Guys does not currently have cross-play functionality between PC and PlayStation 4, and there was no news on whether or not Switch players would be able to play with other platforms.
