Deep One Overview

To begin the Missing Girl quest and battle the Deep One boss, you must reach level 50 in-game. Players who meet this requirement can proceed to Gravell in the Wildlands, where they will encounter a Worried Mother searching for her daughter. Interacting with the Worried Mother begins this quest and allows you to confront the Deep One boss. It is located at the bottom of the Ivory Ravine dungeon deep in the Wildlands.

The Deep One is a formidable opponent, protected by an impenetrable shield of up to 13 levels. His weaknesses lie in Sword, Axe, Fire, and Light attacks; however, his strong defense can be tough to break through. Warriors have an advantageous skill known as Aggressive Slash, which can help players diminish the Deep One’s shield points speedily and proficiently.

The Deep One has some powerful moves that you should be aware of during combat. The highest on Deep One’s priority list is the Great Calamity, its ultimate attack that can reduce the HP of your entire party to 1. Make sure to have a Cleric or Apothecary on your team for healing. The Sixth Calamity is powerful too, dealing 3000 damage to your entire party. The Call of the Sea is another attack that could be dangerous; it has the dual effect of dealing 1600~ damage while restoring 6000 HP. Be sure to keep these in mind as you face off against Deep One.

When your HP is reduced to one by the Great Calamity, utilize Hikari’s skill Last Gasp to defeat your opponent. Last Gasp is a powerful attack that deals high amounts of damage at low health. Make sure you use this special move, and you’ll have a better chance of winning the fight. Once you’ve defeated the Deep One, you can take the girl back to her Worried Mother to complete this side story.
