While progressing through the main story in Dave the Diver, you will come across different boss enemies. If you have already fought the Giant Squid, you might know how massive and robust these Bosses can be. One particularly tricky boss is named Klaus, the Great White Shark, whom players must take on to help a diver get revenge for her lost husband.
However, to defeat this boss, one must have a good strategy, choose the right weapon, and more. So, to help you out, this handy guide will reveal how you can beat Klaus, the Great White Shark, in Dave the Diver.
How To Defeat Klaus The Great White Shark
In the Revenge Time side quest, you must find the Vortex in which Klaus, the Great White Shark, resides. This Vortex shows up during Stormy Nights, so you will have to wait until the said weather appears. Once a storm hits, dive into the Blue Hole and start swimming towards the right side, which will eventually lead you to the Vortex you are looking for at a depth of around 20-30 meters.
Now, once you are near the Vortex, click OK to enter, and you will end up right in front of the Great White Shark, Klaus.
This battle will not be easy, as Klaus is one of the most challenging bosses in the game. However, you can learn to recognize his attack pattern, as Klaus will mostly rely on the three attacks below:
- Shark Rush: While using this attack, Klaus will come rushing quickly towards you to inflict damage. Dodging is the only way to avoid getting hit by this attack, so get out of the way as fast as possible.
- Crusher: At some point, when you get too close to Klaus, it will try to headbutt you, which can be very dangerous as it can remove a massive amount of Oxygen. Keep a safe distance from Klaus to avoid this attack!
- Whirlwind: This attack is probably Klaus’s strongest. The shark will throw water tornadoes at you with its tail. If these tornadoes hit you, your Oxygen level will drop rapidly. Pause in your attacks and focus on dodging these tornadoes until they disappear.
Eventually, when you get a chance, attack Klaus with long-range weapons to finish the fight with ease while keeping a safe distance. Also, remember that you cannot use regular base-level weapons, as they will not be effective enough against Klaus! Instead, upgrade your weapons to a higher level and use them for this battle. The Red Sniper Rifle is a great option because of its long range.
