Raven Reach Out To Fans At The End Of Warzone Era

Raven has reached out to praise players as the final major update for Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 rolls out. In a statement, they thanked the community at large. “We wanted to take a moment to thank our Players for joining us on this journey. We have learned so much this year and have come such a long way together since we launched the Pacific chapter in December of last year.”

They reflected on the highlights of an era ready to make way for Warzone 2, from the 1940’s Pacific island, the “reimagined and reinforced” iteration of Rebirth Island, mercenaries and Fortune’s Keep, the Terminators, and who could forget two of the most iconic movie monsters to rampage through Caldera?, Kong and Godzilla.

Their most proud achievement, Raven says, is the “team’s work that has gone into Quality of Life improvements and our focus on reducing points of friction in the core gameplay loop. That said, we aren’t finished quite yet, as we detail the final set of improvements further below. We hope this transparent push for changes big and small, has been well received and helped craft the game experience you want to play.”

From November 16, the brand-new Warzone map, Al Mazrah, will mark the beginning of a brand-new era for the battle-royale. The map, as previously reported by GameLuster, has been created “from the ground up with the emphasis on loading up your favorite custom weapon, dropping in, exploring the vast landscape, and having a hell of a good time doing it.”

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II will launch across all major platforms, including the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam on October 20. For more on all things Call of Duty, stay tuned here at GameLuster.
