Warzone 2: Urzikstan Map Revealed by Activision

Activision has revealed exclusive details on the new map coming to Warzone 2 – Urzikstan. The map was unveiled during the Call of Duty: Next Showcase in collaboration with Little Caesars yesterday (October 5, 2023). The “metropolis” of Urzikstan launches in December as part of Season 1 of Warzone in alignment with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

“The massive, free-to-play offering leverages the latest technology as well as learnings from millions of players and over three and a half years of Call of Duty: Warzone,” a blog post published by Activision reads.

Urzikstan, a fictitious country along the border with the Republic of Adal (where the Al-Mazrah Map is located), was introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022). Further below, you can watch a video guide of Urzikstan as shared via Call of Duty social media.

The clip explores the map in detail, covering eleven points of interest, which are as follows: Levin Resort, Zaravan City, Seaport District, Popov Power, Zaravan Suburbs, Urzikstan Cargo, Old Town, Low Town, Orlov Military Base, Hadiqa Farms, and Shahin Manor.

Plus, these modes and maps will be available in the latest iteration of Warzone on launch day:

  • Battle Royale (Urzikstan, Vondel).
  • Resurgence (Vondel, Ashika Island).
  • Plunder (Urzikstan).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will launch on Friday, November 10, 2023, across the PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Series consoles, and PC.

As the Call of Duty franchise prepares to celebrate its 20th-anniversary, Activision president Rob Kostich recently revealed plans for a Call of Duty-inspired theme park.

In other news, the Call of Duty franchise has another four annual titles scheduled in the pipeline, taking the series to 2027.
